Vanessa developed a love of massage as a Beauty Therapist over 20 years ago and in 2006 studied a diploma of Remedial Massage. Vanessa's passion for women's health led her to complete specialised studies with Pregnancy Massage Australia.

 

As a Certified Nurturelife Practitioner Vanessa provides positive and nurturing support for the mother-to-be using specific massage techniques to address the constant changes the body experiences during pregnancy.  

 

With an interest to promote women's well-being, Vanessa completed advanced studies in postnatal care to assist new mums in their recovery from birth, pregnancy and the demands of motherhood.  

 

Vanessa is excited to be part of the team at Newtown Natural Fertility supporting women from preconception, pregnancy, birth and beyond.

 

Vanessa lives in Leopold with her husband and 2 Children.

Birth Preparation Induction Massage:  Birth Preparation and Induction Massage supports the natural body processes during the final stages of pregnancy, such as encouraging decent of baby into position, dilation of cervix and facilitation ofuterine contractions. Relaxation massage, specific acupressure points and essential oils combined can assist to facilitate labour if you are facing (possible early) medical induction, are keen to promote labour or are overdue.

 

Postnatal Massage: The early postnatal weeks are time for the body to readjust and recover from pregnancy and birth. Adapting to motherhood can be exhausting, massage relieves soreness and tension from breastfeeding posture, carrying and lifting a newborn. Postnatal massage reduces swelling, anxiety, stress and fatigue. Improves sleep, strengthens and tones abdominal muscles. It also provides a small window for a new mum to unwind, relax  and have some well deserved time to recharge.
